About , Program

On  17 March 2009 the 4th International conference will bring together the representatives of metallurgy and metallurgical machine-building.

 

The Organizers are RUSMET.RU, "Intellectual Resources" Center, and Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys. Under the auspicious of the Federal Industry Agency RF (Rosprom), the Committee on Metallurgy of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of RF, and Minpromtorg.

The Venue is Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel (2, Europe square; Kievskaya metro station).

The main goals of the Conference is discussion of topical issues of modernization and industry reconstruction, metallurgical production expansion at the expense of:

- effective implementation of new technologies and modern equipment by the example of leading producers' experience; - implementation of latest achievements of Russian and foreign producers of metallurgical equipment;

- efficient use of energy supply, equipment and automated control systems;

- operational recommendations and solutions

 

There is a possibility to place an exhibition stand at the hall of the Conference.

 

Key topics to discuss:

  • Metallurgy in crisis conditions. Survival strategy.
  • Impact of financial crisis on Russian metallurgy modernization rate.
  • Investment projects implementation at credit markets shrinkage and prices slump.
  • Current situation and exporters’ forecasts.
  • Practical recommendations (increase of labor efficiency, projects management efficiency, and enterprises competitive capacity at the account of production costs reduction and quality growth).

Registration fee is EUR 550 which includes: personal participation in the sessions, coffee-breaks, lunch, and evening reception. 

 

The official languages are Russian and English. All participants are provided with simultaneous translation.

On the end of the Conference the participants receive the Conference brochure and CD with all presentations and speeches recorded.
